Ojcow and Pieskowa Skala Castle

Ojców – a small town in the vicinity of Cracow (only 25 km away). It’s a real treat for tourists as it offers astonishing views of limestone landscapes with caves, cliffs, ravines and rock formations.

The famous attractions include: King’s Lokietek Cave, Dark Cave, Bat Cave, Hercules Club, Cracow’s Gate, Koronna Mountain and castles in Pieskowa Skała and Ojców. Ojców National Park is also famous for a large number of various bat species inhabiting its caves.

It is estimated that there are around 640 caves, grottoes and caverns in the park. What is more, limestone forms, such as stalagmites, stalactites and columns can be observed in some of the caves.
